1 - I stumbled upon your CMM/JDM verse and just fell in love. Just imagine my happiness when I realized that all of your work kicks ass. So I just had to friend you!
2 - Giggle if you want, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I'm just in love with the way your write him. So whenever I'm reading a JDM fic, I automatically compare him to yours :)

And settle 'round kiddies for tales of the legendary me...
My best friend got me into comics when we were like 14. So I happily spent my 10.00 a week allowance on comics. As the years went on and my allowance didn't get bigger I started to get crafty and buy things to trade in to the owner. I'd find trading cards and comic sets at Walmart or on clearance at toy stores and buy them. The owner kept giving me more than I paid in credit so I got lots of comics for little money. Then I started buying my friend and brother's comics with my credit. They paid me the cash. Repeat the cycle. :)

Eventually I ended up working for the comic guy when I was 17 or so for store credit. I basically learned the art of customer relations from him because he would just leave the store for hours at a time with only me there.

Then I got a second job at the other comic store in town for actual money. So I worked at both. Then when I was 18 the original comic guy wasn't able to buy comics anymore. He screwed over comic distributor A in the past and switched to comic distributor B. Then distributor A bought distributor B. Oops. :) So I opened an account in my name and sold him comics for a 5% profit. Eventually he mismanaged enough that he wanted to close down. So I bought his store for 800.00. And of course quit the other store...after stealing his gaming customers I had spent the last year cultivating.

Now I own the small 2 store empire you see before you. :)
