Title: Taking a Chance at Life
Summary: Darla is a given a choice between the torments of hell for eternity or a chance at a new life.
Disclaimer - I do not own any of these characters and/or settings. If it looks familiar - I probably didn't invent it.
Rating: FR18, for now.
Spoiler Warning:
Buffy and Angel: Set AU after "Lullably"
Anita Blake: Incubus Dreams (although I doubt I will use anything from that book)

Chapter One - Prompt#94 - Portal
**
Just Dropping By
**
The portal opened up at my feet. There was no time to reconsider. The words had barely left my mouth and I was falling.
The concrete floor did nothing to break my fall. My skin ripped as I scraped against the rough surface.
My head smacked, hard, a few times, making tears well up. My vision blurred. When I looked up I saw double – but seeing double of the dark men in front of me was fine. Although the paler of the two looked both intrigued and pissed at the same time. Dimly, as the blackness started to close in around my vision, I heard them speak.
“Jean-Claude, what is going on?” a deep. solid Hispanic voice questioned.
“That my dear Raphael, I’m not sure about,” the dark haired man spoke, in lilting French.
Great I had fallen into the land of hot foreign men.
